MTMCA Certification Levels
Level I Teacher
Individual with some playing and or teaching experience (6 months minimum incl. assisting in school, park, club or equivalent); team captain, school teacher with some on-court experience.
Requirements: Has passed the Basic Competency Test. Resume, video* and on-court workshop with Clinician/Tester or Oscar demonstrating ability to deliver the methodology to students.
Certificate will read: “(name) is certified in the Basics of MTM as an MTM Tennis Teacher”.
Qualifies for continuing to next level.
Level II Teaching Pro
Individual who has solid professional tennis teaching experience.
Requirements: Has passed the Basic Competency Test. Resume, video* and workshop with Clinician/Tester or Oscar demonstrating ability to deliver the methodology to students. This candidate is or has been engaged professionally as a tennis instructor. Current USPTA, PTR or internationally recognized tennis instructional organizations’ professional certification automatically qualifies candidate for Level III ranking.
Certificate will read: “(name) is certified as an MTM Tennis Teaching Professional”.
This status prepares the member for a higher level of coaching performance which may be obtained by continuing education in the future.

Level III Advanced Teaching Pro
For coaches already MTM certified at Level II, Advanced Certification Level III (Advanced Tennis Teaching Professional) comprises all 7 of the required certification study courses as well as final on-court or video exam and consultation with Oscar Wegner.
This status prepares the member for delivering MTM at the high-performance level and for future Level IV ranking, the highest level of MTM coaching competence. Advanced certification levels may be obtained by continuing education upon request to MTMCA International.
